Affordable SUVs: The second-best-selling SUV made by Tata Motors in the nation is the Tata Punch. Yet Maruti and Hyundai will soon challenge their dominance in the mini SUV market. Each of these businesses will release new models in the upcoming months that will compete with Punch. Maruti is ready to debut its Fronx, which is a compact crossover SUV. It is anticipated to debut in April. Hyundai is also preparing to introduce a new compact SUV, which might debut in late 2023 or early 2024. Let’s discuss these two.

There will be five trim levels for the Fronx model lineup: Sigma, Delta, Delta+, Zeta, and Alpha. Customers will have a choice between the new 1.0L, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol Boosterjet engine and the 1.2L, 4-cylinder NA petrol engine. The naturally aspirated petrol engine will provide 90bhp power with 113Nm, and the turbo petrol engine will produce 100bhp power with 147.6Nm.
It has a wireless phone charger, wireless heads-up display, premium audio system, automated climate control, sunroof, and 360-degree camera. It comes equipped with six airbags, hill-hold assistance, ESP, and ABS with EBD for further safety.

The Hyundai micro SUV, which will be the smallest and most affordable SUV from the South Korean automaker in India, is getting closer to going on sale there. Greater in size than the Hyundai Casper, which is already available in South Korea. As of right now, there is no information available on the engine specifications of the next Hyundai compact SUV. Nonetheless, 1.0L NA and 1.0L turbo petrol engines are likely to be offered. Its starting price is approximately 6 lakhs.
