UP IT Raid: In Uttar Pradesh, the investigation agencies are tightening the noose on Samajwadi Party (SP) leaders. Income tax raids were conducted on Wednesday morning at the premises of Uttar Pradesh’s big construction company Ghanaram Construction. Income tax team has reached many places including Jhansi, Lucknow and documents are being searched.
Ghanaram Construction is owned by Samajwadi Party leader Shyam Sundar Yadav and his brother Bisan Singh. Ghanaram Construction has its corporate office in Jhansi. The Income Tax team is raiding the office and residence located on the Civil Lines of Jhansi. Earlier, after the investigation of former SP MLA Deep Narayan Yadav Vigilance, now the screws have been tightened on Shyam Sundar.
At present, raids are also going on inside Rajesh Yadav house in Kanpur and three teams of Income Tax Department are engaged in scouting documents inside the house. At the same time, police force is also deployed for security outside. No member of the house has been seen coming out.
However, it could not be confirmed whether real estate businessman Rajesh was inside during the raid.
Income Tax team of Kanpur has raided the residence, company and other locations of 8 big businessmen and builders of Jhansi city, which are Basera Builders and Ghanaram Constructions. The Income Tax Department action is going on against many businessmen including SP leader Shyam Sundar Singh Yadav, builder Virendra Rai, Rakesh Baghel, Vijay Saraogi.
According to sources, it is alleged that Ghanaram Infra made cash transactions of crores of rupees. The houses and properties were bought and sold by the company for cash. It is believed that this raid will last for 2-3 days. It is alleged that this company converts black money into white through fake contracts. Recently, properties worth more than 300 crores have also been purchased.
