Upcoming bikes 2023: A new year signifies new opportunities, and for motorcyclists, it also signifies new motorcycles. We’ve already gone over the budget bikes that will be available in India in 2023, but now it’s time to talk about the high-end bikes that will be introduced.

Yamaha, and Suzuki are planning big launches from Royal Enfield to Ducati. The range will be wide, and we can say for sure that there will be a lot of horsepowers. So, let’s quickly go over the best high-end bikes that are coming to India in 2023.

2023 Street Triple R Triumph

This year, India will get the updated Triumph Street Triple, which will also have a lot of new features. The new model will come out in February or March and come in two different versions: R and RS. Around the world, there is also a special edition of the Moto2 race bike that has just 9 bhp less power than the real Moto2 race bike. But the Street Triple R and RS also have a lot of power thanks to their redesigned suspension, brakes, and electronics. The look of the motorcycle has also been changed. The street fighter is likely to cost between 9.5 lakh and 11 lakh (ex-showroom).

Ducati DesertX

Another eagerly anticipated release from Ducati, the DesertX has already been announced for India, but the company has stated that deliveries won’t begin. The new offering is ready for a rally and promises to be all fun when the road ends. The huge 250 mm ground clearance and off-road-specific set-up help a lot. In its class, the new DesertX will compete with the Triumph Tiger 900 and the BMW F 850 GS.

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

With the coming of the Super Meteor 650, Royal Enfield will add to its 650 cc platform. The brand-new product was first shown to the world at EICMA in 2016 and then again at Rider Mania 2022 in November. The Super Meteor 650 will be the first big cruiser from the brand, and it looks like it will also be the most advanced bike the brand has made so far. The familiar 648 cc parallel-twin engine will provide power, and prices are likely to be reasonable at around 3.5-4 lakh (ex-showroom). This will be the new main ship for RE.

Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE

Last year at EICMA, Suzuki finally updated the V-Strom 650, which was already very capable. The V-Strom 800 DE, which is part of the new line, is a big step forward. The V-Twin engine has been replaced with a more powerful and reliable parallel-twin engine. Suzuki says that it is tuned to work like a V-Twin. The design, features, and electronics have also been changed. The Suzuki V-Strom 800 DE is likely to be released by the end of the year and will cost between 11 and 12 lakh rupees (ex-showroom).

Yamaha MT-07 & R7

There is a rumour that Yamaha plans to ship its middleweight bikes to India as soon as February. This includes the MT-07 and YZF-R7 motorcycles, which will go up against a number of other brands. Both bikes came out in the world last year and look like they could be great for the street and the track. Still, only a small number of the bikes will be made, and they will try to get around the new OBD-2 rules that will start in April 2023. So if you want to buy one of these, you should get your chequebook ready.
