When buying a new house, there might be certain things to remember before finalizing anything. According to Vastu Shastra, certain layout patterns can cause negative energy to be invoked into the house. These negative energies may lead to financial loss, health issues or relationship troubles. To avoid these, these ancient scriptures have listed a few tips to follow to get abundance in your new house and start your new journey with positivity.
The entrance
The entrance of the house should be well-lit and decorated well. Moreover, it should always open clockwise. While putting statues outside the door, water fountains and animal statues. In addition to that, a shoe rack or dustbin should not be placed at the entrance. It should be facing north, east or northeast.
Living room
The living room is one of the most important rooms in the house. Therefore, it is most sensitive to good and bad energies. Along with that, it should be in the east or northeast of the house. This area should also be clean and devoid of mess. The furniture in the room should be placed in the southwest part of the room
Bedroom
Bedrooms should be in the Southwest direction of the house. Moreover, the bed should be placed in the southwest part of the room. Furthermore, the head of the bed should else it could prompt disputes in your family. A painting of water should not be there while the room should have warm lighting.
Kitchen
The kitchen along with all its appliances should be in the southeast direction of the house. The kitchen should strictly not be in the southwest or northeast of the house.
Bathroom
Bathrooms should be in the northwest of your house or the room. The toilet seat should be in the southeast or northwest location while the person sitting on it should be facing either west or east. The bathroom windows need to be either in the west, east or north
