Weather Update: A sigh of relief for every citizen across the country as IMD predicts that the heatwave season is finally over. IMD has predicted that the advancement of the Southern Monsoon will be widespread, and half of the country will face heavy rainfalls.

According to IMD, the monsoon will advance to various parts of Maharastra, Karnataka, and Telangana in the coming days. It is also predicted that cyclonic circulation will take over the Bay Of Bengal’s isolated areas.

Delhi

Isolated areas of the national capital will face heavy rainfall in the coming days. Citizens will get relief from heat waves to a certain extent. The temperature of Delhi will fluctuate between 36 degrees to 28 degrees with clouds.

Mumbai

Citizens of Mumbai will also feel relief from heatwaves while monsoon hitting Mumbai by tomorrow after a week’s delay. Mumbai will face a maximum temperature of 31 degrees, with a minimum going to 27 degrees with rainfall.

Chennai

Monsoon has already hit Chennai, and according to IMD, it will stay like this till Monday. A thunderstorm may lash in selected parts of Chennai. The temperature will be recorded at 34 degrees to 28 degrees with heavy rainfall.

Kolkata

The temperature of Kolkata will remain between 31 degrees to 27 degrees, will heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in isolated areas. The temperature will still remain humid, with 89% expected humidity and 80% precipitation.
