Yamaha Fascino 125 and Yamaha Ray ZR are now available with BS6 phase 2 engines, all you need to know

Yamaha Fascino 125 and Yamaha Ray ZR: For the 2023 model year, Yamaha modified its 125 cc scooters to be BS6 phase 2 compliant, including the Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid, Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid, and Ray ZR Street Rally 125 Fi Hybrid. The three scooters sport Yamaha’s Y-Connect Bluetooth technology in addition to new colour options and an updated engine.

Yamaha India wants a head start on the upcoming shift in emission standards because, as we all know, OBD2 compliance will soon be put into action. As a matter of fact, it is among the first two-wheeler producers in the nation to introduce OBD2 compliance and E20 compatibility across its line of products. Basically, the onboard diagnostic system, also known as the OBD sensor, aids in the real-time identification of any emission-related issues your car may have and assists you in addressing them.

The current winners are commuter products as Yamaha is on a rampage to update its product line and ensure that it is future-proof. Even while its sportier models, including the R15 and MT-15 V2, have the OBD2 update, they do not yet support flex fuel. However, the manufacturer has stated that by the end of 2023, all of its vehicles would support E20.
