Yamaha Fluo 2023: In Brazil, Yamaha recently launched the Fluo scooter. The scooter is substantially identical to the Yamaha FreeGo, which is available in Indonesia. The Fluo and the FreeGo both share the same design. Like its Indonesian predecessor, it nevertheless has a contemporary look and sports-inspired elements. The Fluo’s turn signal and brake lamps are separate, in contrast to the FreeGo’s integrated ones, which is a significant stylistic distinction.
Yamaha Fluo 2023 specifications
The 125cc air-cooled engine in the 2023 Fluo generates 9.6 PS of power and 10.3 Nm of maximum torque. It is coupled to a CVT automatic transmission. It weighs 102 kilogrammes, which is light for its class and has a 4.2-litre fuel tank.
Features
Unlike its Indonesian counterpart, which offers ABS as an option, the new Fluo comes with it as a standard. A 12-volt charging port, full LED illumination, auto start/stop, keyless access through a smart key, and a fully digital instrument panel with a blue lighting background are further features of the Fluo. In addition, there is a useful 25-litre storage compartment under the seat.
Availability in India
The Japanese manufacturer currently produces 125cc scooters in India, including the Fascino and RayZR, so it seems unlikely that the Yamaha Fluo would be sold there.
Price
The Yamaha Fluo will cost 13,390 Brazilian Reals (about Rs. 2,16,587) at retail, or 94,642 Baht, or approximately 43,400 Baht more than its Indonesian equivalent. It will be taxed upon import since Yamaha intends to bring it in from Indonesia.
