Yamaha R3 and MT03: Yamaha is expected to launch its highly anticipated machines- the R3 and MT03 in India in December this year. The manufacturer is planning to launch these motorcycles in India in the middle of December 2023.
As per a leaked document sent by brand to the dealerships, these bikes will only be available at select dealerships of the brand. A dealership will be required to meet an eligibility criteria to sell. service and display the upcoming bikes.
Yamaha R3 and MT03: Details
In a leaked document, the company will open the pre-booking of the vehicles only via the official website. After receiving the booking, it will send the booking to the nearest dealers who will then place order accordingly. The company has not informed about the shortlisted dealerships, but we expect that the brand will release the list of shortlisted brand by the end of this month.
Few years ago, the Yamaha R3 was available in India. It came with a huge price tag but enjoyed the privilege of having an excellent fan following. It seems that the Yamaha has taken note of Yamaha R15, MT15 and FZ customers shifting to other brands such as Kawasaki and KTM as they need more powerful vehicles in the segment. For this reason, the brands is planning to fill the vacuum in its motorcycle portfolio by launching the all new Yamaha R3 and MT03 in India.
