Yamaha RX100: Is the go-to bike of the nineties launching any time soon? All we know so far

Yamaha RX100: You have been waiting for a bike that is both powerful and gorgeous, but you no longer need to be worried because the RX100 will launch in the market. It is true that you will have to wait a long time for this but it is true that this OG bike will re-enter the market soon.

The initial price of the Yamaha RX100 motorcycle is anticipated to be one lakh rupees. It will be offered in India in just one variant.  The RX100 is driven by a 98 cc engine that produces 11 HP and 10.39 Nm of torque. Drum brakes are included on both the front and the back. and has a 10 L gasoline tank capacity.

History

In the 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s, the Yamaha RX100 was a recognisable and popular motorcycle. It not only established standards for two-stroke motorcycles but also single-handedly revolutionised how people view motorcycles.

Yamaha produced the RX100 until March 1996 after its November 1985 launch. The Yamaha RX100 was the dominant motorcycle in India until the government decided to ban all two-stroke motorcycles. The success narrative, however, continues to this day.

Launch details

Yamaha has declared that the RX100 will return to India. The famous bike will return in a larger form, the Japanese bike manufacturer has recently disclosed.
