Yamaha MT-07 and YZF-R7: Yamaha has recently demonstrated various new motorcycles which also includes the 300cc and 700cc segment bikes. In the mid weight segment, two beasts are set to be launched soon which are R7 and the MT-07 and both models have been demonstated so far in India. Yamaha India is planning to launch both these bikes very soon. We will inform you about all the details of both these vehicles. Check full story to get into more details.
Both Yamha YZF-R7 and MT-07 is quipped with 689cc twin cylinder motor combiined with a 6 speed Gearbox, this engine produces the maximum power output of 73 Bhp and a peak torque of 67 Nm at 6500 rpm. Braking setup of the these two bikes looks similar. Both get dual 298 mm front disc and a single 245 mm rear disc along with a dual channel ABS, the notable difference is YZF R7 comes with USD Fron forks and a monoshock, whereas MT-07 comes with the conventional telescopic front forks and a monoshock.
Alongside, both these bike comes with a fully digital instrument console. Bikes gets speedometer, trip meter, tachometer, fuel level indicator, odometer, clock, gear position indicator and many other features. The MT-07 comes with smartphone connectivity which enables you to answer your calls and messages on the go.
Although, Yamaha has not made any official announcement of the launch dates yet , but it is expected that company will launch these bike anytime soon now. Where, Yamaha YZF-R7 will probably give a stiff competition to Kawasaki Ninja 650, Honda CBR 650R. On the other side, MT-07 competes with Triumph Trident 660, Kawasaki Z650.
