Yamaha YZF-R3 and MT-O3: Yamaha has confirmed that it will be launching one of the most awaited bikes, the Yamaha R3 and MT-03 on December 15 in the Indian market. Both bikes will be available only at Yamaha’s Blue Square dealerships. Yamaha R3 and MT-03 were also displayed in the Moto GP 2023 which was held in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. Some of the dealerships of the brand have started accepting pre-bookings unofficially, while many others are yet to start. Check out the detailed specs and features of both bikes below.

Yamaha R3 and MT03: Details

Yamaha R3 and MT-03 will be competed by already available Kawasaki Ninja 300, KTM 390 Duke, KTM RC 390, TVS Apache RR 310, BMW g 310 RR, TVS Apache RTE 310 and BMW G 310 R. Yamaha used to sell R3 in BS4 stage in India, but later the brand discontinued the bike in India. Then, the two-wheeler manufacturer launched MT-03 to fill the void made in the company’s portfolio in the country. Yamaha R3 and MT-03 will come to India via a Completely Built Unit (CBU) route.

Both YZF-R3 and MT-03 get the same 321cc Liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine which generates a maximum power of 41.4 bhp and a peak torque of 29.6 Nm. The powerhouse comes coupled with a 6-speed gearbox unit with slip and assist clutch.

As far as the features are concerned, Both motorcycles get all LED lighting and a fully digital instrument cluster that lacks BT connectivity.

Yamaha R3 and MT-03: Expected Pricings

The motorcycles are expected to be priced at around Rs. 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and Rs. 3.25 lakh for the MT-03.
