All about the Yezdi Roadster

Key specifications

Engine

A single, 334cc liquid-cooled cylinder engine with 29.7PS and 29Nm of torque at 7300 and 6500 rpm powers the Yezdi Roadster. Although the motor was based on the Jawa Perak, it had its tuning altered to fit the Roadster’s personality. A six-speed transmission and the engine function together. A telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers have been used on the Yezdi Roadster. Both the front and back wheels have 135mm wheel travel. Using dual-channel ABS, the bike’s front and rear 320mm and 240mm discs respectively bring it to a stop. Road, Off-road, and Rain modes further help the ABS.

Features

A fully digital instrument cluster with a real-time mileage indicator, a gauge showing how far it is until the tank is empty, a gear position indicator, and other standard information is included with the Yezdi Roadster. The Roadster Dark series has bar-end mirrors, a short flyscreen, and a blacked-out theme, whilst the Chrome series has a metal finish on the engine and exhaust and a tall windscreen for maximum wind protection. Instead of having bar-end mirrors, this variation has standard mirrors. A padded backrest is included on both models to improve pillion comfort.

Price in India

Yezdi Roadster costs between Rs. 1.98 lakh and Rs. 2.06 lakh in India. The Yezdi Roadster comes in a variety of colours, with Dark Smoke Grey starting at 1.98 lakh and Chrome Gallant Grey and Sin Silver going up to 2.06 lakh.
