CM Yogi Adityanath, who arrived on Azamgarh tour, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 50 projects worth more than Rs 143 crore to the district. On this occasion, he raised the issue of neglecting Azamgarh in the previous governments. Thanks to the people of Azamgarh for choosing the MP.
He said that there was a time when the youth of Azamgarh used to go outside for bread and employment, they could not even get a hotel. But today the people here have changed this perception. This district remained backward due to narrow mentality of politics. During the last 5 years 5 lakh jobs were given, youth are being given jobs according to their qualifications. Work was done to provide employment to 1 crore 61 lakh youth, more than 60 lakh youth were assisted for self-employment.
Yogi Adityanath said in the address that even after losing the Lok Sabha seat in Lalganj of Azamgarh, development was never neglected in the district.
Purvanchal Expressway was made for the district. The government of double engine in Azamgarh established the university which is named after Maharaja Suheldev. This land has been the land of great writers. There have been great litterateurs of the country and the state. In such a situation, a research bench will be established in the university in Azamgarh on the name of Rageya Raghav on his works.
Seeing the education affected by the youth due to Corona, we are fulfilling the goal of giving tablet smartphones to 2 crore youth. We are working to change the image of Azamgarh which was tarnished. You have sent a Bhojpuri artist to Parliament, so here we are going to visit Hariharpur Sangeet Gharana and explore the possibilities there.
He said that no one may have come during the Corona period, I myself had come here 3 times, even when I was an MP, I used to come here. We are celebrating freedom, so the Prime Minister’s resolve is to hoist the tricolor at every house, from August 13 to 15, the tricolor will be hoisted at every house, this goal is to be fulfilled. Revolutionary sacrifices should be remembered in schools, in their memory children should have fancy dress competition in the costumes of those revolutionaries. Thanks everyone with this goal of Amrit Mahotsav.
