Bihar News: The Bihar Education Department has redesigned the timetables for all state government schools, with an emphasis on increasing summertime learning for students. All primary, middle and higher secondary schools will be subject to these modifications as of today, May 16.
Earlier Start, Focus on Learning
Schools will run from 6:00 am to 1:30 pm. Regular classes will continue from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. The state’s education department wants to avoid the summer heat by giving students a full day of education. There will be a special session after school from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm for Mission Daksh, a program created by the government to help kids who are struggling academically.
Boosting Skills Through Mission Daksh
Mission Daksh is a focused initiative that the Bihar government launched with the goal of assisting over 25 lakh students in the state. For children in grades 3 through 8, the curriculum emphasises on fundamental topics including Hindi, Mathematics, and English. These concentrated classes will offer extra assistance to students who may want a bit more aid in these important subjects.
Enforcing Attendance and Wider Implementation
During this new time frame, the District Education Officers hold the responsibility for guaranteeing that pupils attend at least 90% of class. All headmasters in the state have received orders detailing the adjustments. The updated timetable will be in force till June 30, 2024.
