CBSE: According to the notification, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has started the process of registration of class 9, 11 students for the session 2022-2023. CBSE registration for class 9 and 11 is an important process for the board examination of class 10 and 12 However, schools will have to update their data.
Registration Starts from July 1st
It is to be noted that the students who are going to appear in the class 10 or 12 board exams in the session 2023-2024 will have to register from July 1st. The registration process will end on September 30th. Affiliated schools have to carefully check the name of the students, name of parents, date of birth and other data submitted by the students as once the data is uploaded on the registration portal, it cannot be changed.
Excel Sheet on website
In the notification, CBSE has already mentioned that it will provide an excel sheet for the registration of students on the official website. And then, the schools have to download the excel sheet and fill the data like name, date of birth, parent’s name correctly. CBSE has said that schools should not change the pattern of excel sheets as it will create constraints while uploading the data.

Principals/Schools should ensure that: –
Students are regularly attending classes in your school.
No bonafide students’ name is left unregistered.
Students sponsored are their own regular and bonafide students onIy.
Students are not registered with any other School Education Board in addition to CBSE.
Students are eligible for admission in Classes 9 and 11 and appearing in Class 10 and 12 Board’s Examinations as per provisions of Examination Bye Laws.
