In general the practical exams of CBSE class 10 and 12 are conducted in the month of January and Febuary but it might not be possible for the schools in such a small notice period. It might be possible that CBSE can skip the practical exams as most of the students have never attended the schools this year.
Earlier Nishank said that CBSE exams might not be possible before March as it needs a lot of preparations.
“Keeping the current situation in mind, it has been decided that the board exams for classes 10 and 12 will not be conducted till February next year. CBSE is making necessary preparations for conducting the 2021 examinations. A decision on the exam schedule will be taken later after assessment of situation and more consultations with stakeholders,” Nishank said earlier.
Schools and colleges are on the online mode this year in wake of the coronavirus pandemic. The syllabus has been reduced to half but still year without offline classes is a tough challenge for the students.
