All schools and colleges across India are closed due to coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) and lockdown, all classes are going online. According to a report, in Unlock 5.0, the central government is planning to reopen schools and colleges from November 1 to November 14.
The decision to reopen within the unlocked 5.0 guidelines will be left to the state governments. Lockdown process: Unlock 4.0 new guidelines were issued on 29 August, which calls for the resumption of metro services.
The Ministry of Education has raised the need to open a college amid the growing threat of Corona virus and the Unlock 4.0 implemented in the country.

The Ministry has released the schedule for this, graduation class is closed after the nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus.
Calender issued –
- Calendar has been released for the session of Ministry of Education.
- By October 31, the nomination process will be completed Graduation class will start from 1st November.
- Preparation break will be given for 1st March to 7th March.
- Semester exam between 8th March to 26th March 2nd semester starts from 27th March to 4th April Class of second semester from 4th April.
SOPs to be followed by students / teachers / employees at schools
- Physical distancing of at least 6 feet to be followed as far as feasible.
- Use of face covers/masks to be made mandatory.
- Frequent hand washing with soap (for at least 40-60 seconds) even when hands are not visibly dirty.
- Use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers (for at least 20 seconds) can be done wherever feasible.
- Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed. This involves strict practice of covering one’s mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues properly.
- Self-monitoring of health by all and reporting any illness at the earliest.
- Spitting shall be strictly prohibited.
