CUET PG 2022: UGC Chairman Says No Scores Were Normalised For the CUET-PG

CUET PG 2022: According to UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar, unlike CUET UG, the Common University Entrance Test for postgraduate admissions has not had results normalised. On Monday, the CUET PG results were released. Live CUET PG Result, according to Mr. Kumar, who spoke to PTI, “CUET-PG scores have not been normalised, and colleges will compile rank lists based on ‘raw marks’ rather than NTA ratings.

Rank lists will be created using the normalised National Testing Agency (NTA) scores.

Scores in the CUET UG, whose results were released on September 16, were normalised, and the UGC had previously declared that rank lists will be created using the normalised National Testing Agency (NTA) scores.

When questioned about the reasons why the CUET PG scores were not normalised, Mr. Kumar responded, “For the majority of subjects, the PG exam was administered in a single sitting, but the UG exam was administered in various phases and shifts. In order to offer a level playing field for all candidates, scores have to be normalised.”

For the postgraduate entrance exam, the NTA has also revealed the top candidates per subject, unlike CUET UG.
