The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for postgraduate programs will be conducted from June 1 to June 10, 2023, for the upcoming academic session. UGC Chairman M. Jagadish Kumar shared this information on his official Twitter handle on Wednesday. Along with this, he also mentioned the details of the application process in his tweet.

UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar said that the application process for the exam will start in mid-March. He said that this would be a good opportunity for the students to try for admission in various universities in postgraduate programs using CUET-PG scores.
Exam will be held in CBT mode
Common entrance exam was conducted in more than 30 central universities this year for postgraduate admission. The upcoming examination will also be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode for all undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Applications will start in UG courses from February
UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar tweeted on December 16 that the application process for CUET-UG will begin in the first week of February 2023. The number of subjects and the pattern of the question paper will remain the same. A candidate can take up to 6 domain subjects in addition to one or two languages and general examination. The exam will be conducted in multiple languages which include Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. He said that NTA is working on creating 1,000 exam centers across the country, out of which 450-500 centers will be used daily.
