CM Arvind Kejriwal: The LG of Delhi and the Kejriwal government appear to be at odds once more. Regarding the opening of the Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University’s East Delhi campus, a credit battle has begun between the two parties. The University’s East Delhi Campus was opened today. Arvind Kejriwal, the chief minister, and VK Saxena, the lieutenant governor, were both present. They opened up this campus together.
Education Minister Accuses Lieutenant Governor of Taking Credit
In a news conference at the same time, Education Minister Atishi took aim at the Lieutenant Governor and claimed that although the Delhi government had worked hard for seven years to build this campus, other people were now coming and claiming credit for it. LG is invited to the occasion and serves as the university’s vice chancellor. It’s not a guarantee that he invented it.

Controversy Surrounds Opening of University’s East Delhi Campus
The Chief Minister of Delhi will officially open the University’s East Delhi campus, according to Education Minister Atishi, who made the announcement during a news conference on Wednesday. The Lt. Governor’s office asserted that they would be the only ones to inaugurate at the same moment. The Chief Minister of Delhi reportedly moved the date from May 23 to June 8 in accordance with the Lieutenant Governor’s office. But today, both celebrated the new campus’s opening. Let us say that the IP East Campus will provide a lot of advantages for the students. The unique feature is that only Delhi students would be eligible for 85% of the institute’s seats. Due to which students living in East Delhi as well as students living in other areas will also be benefited.
