In view of the pollution, the Delhi Government has directed the schools to remain closed from tomorrow till further orders. In this regard, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai has said that all schools will remain closed from tomorrow till further orders.
During the hearing in the matter of pollution in Delhi-NCR today, the Supreme Court has given a 24-hour ultimatum to the Center and the states. The court has said that take steps in 24 hours or else the court will issue an order. Extraordinary steps need to be taken in emergency situations.
Now the next hearing in this case will be held on Friday. Earlier today, CJI NV Ramana expressed his displeasure over some schools still being open in Delhi.
