Delhi Schools Update: If the corona cases keep increasing in Delhi, then the schools can be closed once again. The administration has directed that if the corona positivity rate exceeds 0.5% for 2 consecutive days, then the Covid safety protocol will be implemented immediately, under which schools and colleges will be closed. The COVID 19 positivity rate in the capital has been recorded at 0.43% on Saturday 25 December. In such a situation, if the cases of infection do not come under control, then soon the schools may be locked again.
The government will decide the restrictions based on the rate of corona infection, the number of active patients and the number of patients admitted to hospitals. However, according to the information, the schools for the students of classes 1 to 5 in Delhi were to open from tomorrow, December 27, 2021. In such a situation, there is still a doubt whether the junior classes will be able to start from tomorrow or will have to wait longer.
The schools for senior classes in Delhi were open from 18 December. Schools were closed first due to Corona and then due to air pollution. Now the risk of corona infection is increasing again, in view of which instructions to close the schools can be issued soon. As soon as the positivity rate increases in Delhi, along with the closure of the school, other restrictions like gym, swimming pool, theater the restrictions will be imposed too.
