DME Hosts Successful Youth Parliament under National Youth Parliament Scheme

Delve into the impactful Youth Parliament organized by Delhi Metropolitan Education, featuring Union Minister Harsh Malhotra

NSS cell and Law School of Delhi Metropolitan Education organised the Youth Parliament under the National Youth Parliament Scheme, an initiative of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India. The Youth Parliament provides an extraordinary platform for young minds to engage in parliamentary practices, understand the functioning of democracy, and express their views on various national issues.

The ceremony was graced by Hon’ble Chief Guest Mr. Harsh Malhotra, Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs and Road Transport and Highways. His presence underscored the importance of youth participation in democratic discourse and policy-making. He shared his knowledge and experience which is invaluable, and we were truly grateful for his presence.

Other dignitaries, including Dr. Shashi Pandey, our speaker and a respected leader in educational innovation. Mr. Vipin Sahni, Chairman DME; Mrs. Kiran Sahni, Chairperson DME; Mr. Aman Sahni, Vice Chairman DME; Mrs. Nishtha Sahni; Hon’ble Mr. Justice Bhanwar Singh, Director General; Prof. Dr. Ravikant Swami, Director DME; and Dr. Rajinder Randhawa, Head of DME Law School. Their presence added significant value to the proceedings, reinforcing the importance of youth engagement in democratic discussions.
