Indian Navy Hiring: Indian Navy has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for the grant of a Short Service Commission (SSC) for a course commencing June 2022 onwards at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. The Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2021 registration process has started on the official website, the link for which is joinindiannavy.gov.in. The last date to apply for 181 SSC posts is October 5.
Selected candidates will undergo training for respective branches/cadres/specialisations as under(as official notification stated):
(a) Extended Naval Orientation Course – General Service (Executive) [GS(X)]/ Hydrography.
(b) Naval Orientation Course (NOC) Regular – Air Traffic Controller/Observer/Pilot/ Logistics /Education/Technical (Engineering & Electrical) /Naval Architect.

Probation Period:
Probation period for officers of all branches/cadres is two years. The probation period will commence from the date of grant of the rank of Sub Lt /Ag Lt and will terminate after two years or on completion of initial training (whichever is later). During probation, the officers are liable to be discharged in case of unsatisfactory performance at any stage.
