Pragati Scholarship Scheme: An AICTE and MoE scholarship programme for female students enrolled in the first or second year of a technical degree programme at an institution that has received AICTE approval. A family may receive benefits for a maximum of two girl children. For first-year admitted students, the advantages are offered for a maximum of four years, and for second-year admitted students who enter through lateral entry, the benefits are offered for a maximum of three years. This programme aims to empower women by providing them with the knowledge, skills, and self-assurance they need to pursue further education and get ready for prosperous futures.
Financial Assistance Details for Scholarship Recipients
Rs. 50,000 as a lump sum payment towards the payment of college fees, the purchase of computers, stationery, books, equipment, software, etc. for a maximum of 3 years for second-year admitted students through lateral entry and a maximum of 4 years for first-year admitted students.
Eligibility
- The candidate needs to be a female student.
- The applicant must be pursuing either the first year of their degree programme through lateral entrance OR the second year of their degree programme.
- Over the course of the current fiscal year, the family’s total annual income cannot exceed Rs. 8.00 lakh.
- The AICTE will award scholarships to all deserving female students from the following 13 Union Territories and North Eastern States: Andaman and Nicobar Islands (UT), Jammu and Kashmir (UT), Ladakh (UT), Dadra and Nagar Haveli & Daman and Diu (UT), Lakshadweep (UT), Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura.
Application Process
- Have the electronic versions of the necessary documents on hand.
Visit www.scholarships.gov.in to learn more. click “New Registration” to begin.
There will be instructions for registering. the bottom of the page.
Read the assignment thoroughly. Embrace the terms. “Continue” should be clicked. - A registration form will show up in step two. (Fields with an asterisk (*) are required.)
Click “Register” after entering your information.
You will see your application ID and password.
The same will be delivered to your registered mobile number by SMS as well. - Visit scholarships.gov.in/fresh/newstdRegfrmInstruction
“Login to Apply” should be clicked. Your Application ID and password must be entered.
Click “Login” after entering the Captcha.
Enter the OTP that was sent to your registered mobile phone on the following screen. The Password Reset screen will be displayed for you.
Make a new password and verify it.
the “Submit” button. A link to the “Applicant’s Dashboard” will be provided. - To begin, select “Application Form” in the left pane. The fields with an asterisk (*) are required. Complete the form and upload the necessary files.
Alternatively, you can select “Save as Draught” and finish the application later.
Click “Final Submit” to send the application if you don’t want to.
