Haryana: A 14-year-old boy died by suicide after being scolded and beaten by his principal in Haryana’s Adampur. The boy died by jumping in front of a train after a few days after the incident, said police on Thursday.

The principal has been booked after the families complain, the police informed. In the complaint, the family said that the class 9th boy was scolded and thrashed by the principal a few times and said the boy was not fit to study.
On August 10, the boy jumped before a passenger train in Hisar district, SHO of Government Railway Police, Hisar, Naresh Kumar said. Earlier, the family thought the teenage boy might have taken this huge because for some either reason but after his sister and other classmates informed that the boy was scolded and beaten by the school principal for the past few days and then the family filed a complaint he said.

They even said that the CCTV footage revealed that the incident happened on August 8 and 9, 2022. The boy died because he was not able to tolerate the torture. Further probe is underway, Kumar said.
