ICSE board has also canceled the examinations of the 10th board

The second wave of corona in the country is proving to be quite fatal. Every day, new cases of record-breaking infections are being recorded. On the other hand, in view of the increasing cases of corona, the board of many states of the country including CBSE has either postponed or canceled the examination of class 10th and 12th. In this episode, now the ICSE board has also canceled the examinations of the 10th board.

Significantly, the 10th board examination of ICSE was to begin on May 4 and was to end on June 7. The examination of the students of the first class was kept optional.

The CISCE board has already announced the postponement of the 12th exams. The board had said that the class 12 exams (offline) will be held later. For this, the date can be announced in June. The CISCE Board 10th exam was scheduled to begin on May 04. Its last paper was to be held on 07 June. While the 12th exam was going on from 8 April and it was to be concluded on 18 June. CISCE is made up of two boards. Under this, the 10th exam is conducted by the ICSE board and the 12th under the ISC board.

For evaluation of students, the board will decide a transparent criterion and based on this, the result will be made. According to the information given by the board, the result date will be announced after a few days. Orders have been given to admit students of 10th standard in schools affiliated to ICSE in 11th and start their studies in online mode. The board has said that the safety of students and teachers is the highest priority.

The Central Board of Education has not changed its April 16 decision regarding ISC (12th) examination. The board has said that a final decision will be taken on the new dates in the first week of June. According to the previously scheduled examination schedule, the theory exams of ICSE and ISC classes were to start from 4 May 2021.
