The Indira Gandhi National Open Univesity (IGNOU) has once again extended the last date of fresh admission for the July 2021 session for ODL and online undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes. The extension of the application deadline is not applicable to semester-based courses.
Candidates willing to apply for admission in any UG or PG courses in IGNOU July 2021 session, can do it till 30 November 2021.
“With the approval of the Competent Authority, the last date of fresh admission for all UG/PG Programmes (except Semester based programmes) on offer in July 2021 Session has been further extended till 30th November, 2021,” reads the official notification.
Candidates who are interested can apply for their UG and PG courses by visiting the official website of IGNOU at https://ignou.samarth.edu.in.

Steps on how to register for IGNOU July Admission 2021:
- Visit official site of IGNOU Samarth at https://ignou.samarth.edu.in/
- As a new page opens, candidates need to enter their login details or register online
- Then, fill in the IGNOU application form and upload the required documents
- Following which, candidates need to make payment of application fee for IGNOU admissions
- Once payment is done, submit the IGNOU July admission 2021 application form
Once the application form is successfully submitted, IGNOU staff will scrutinize the received applications and send registered emails accordingly.
IGNOU offers programmes in disciplines including undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate diploma and diploma, postgraduate certificate and certificate programmes and appreciation/ awareness programmes.
