Only a few days are left for school students to register for the Indian Olympiad Qualifier Exam (IOQ). This exam will be taken in January 2022. For this you have to apply online. Homa Bhabha Center of Science Education (HBCSE), a National Center of Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) is the nodal agency on behalf of the Government of India for this examination. The subjects for which the Indian Olympiad will be conducted are – Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astronomy and Junior Science.
The National Olympiad program for science subjects for the International Olympiad 2022 was affected due to the Covid-19 epidemic. As a result, the three-stage process of the Olympiad is now being completed in two phases.
The first stage will be the Indian Olympiad Qualifier Exam (IOQ Exam). It will be a 3.30 hour test which will be taken in two parts. After that the second stage will be of Orientation cum Selection Camp (OCSC). Exam pattern, syllabus and other complete details can be obtained from the link given below.
The Indian Olympiad qualifiers are jointly organized by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT), Association of Chemistry Teachers (ACT), The Association of Teachers in Biological Sciences (ATBS) and Homi Bhabha Center for Science Education (TIFR).
The last date to register online and fill the application form for the Indian Olympiad Qualifier Exam 2022 is 31 October 2022. The exam will be held on 3rd Sunday of January 2022.
