NTA determines the JEE Main 2023 scores depending on the exam results of the candidates
The NTA uses a tie-breaking procedure to establish the final rankings when there is a tie between two or more candidates. For JEE Main 2023, each correct response receives four points, while each incorrect response receives one point less. Negative marking won’t be available for questions with numerical values in the JEE Main 2023 session 2 exam, though. It should be remembered that the NTA determines the JEE Main 2023 scores depending on the exam results of the candidates. If a candidate shows up in more than one session, the best score from both appearances will be taken into account for creating the merit list and ranking. The candidate’s raw results will be normalised to create the NTA scores, and both the subject-specific and overall scores will be published on the JEE scorecard.
