The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has started accepting online applications for admission to Class 1 for the academic session 2024-25. Parents and guardians can register their children on the official KVS website, [kvsangathan.nic.in], from April 1st to April 15th, 5 PM.

- Registration Window: April 1st – April 15th (5 PM)
- First Provisional List: April 19th
- Second Provisional List: April 29th
- Third Provisional List: May 8th
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: The child must be 6 years old as of March 31st, 2024 (children born on April 1st, 2018, are also eligible).
- Multiple Applications: Only one application form per child will be considered.
Required Documents
- Original Birth Certificate
- SC/ST/OBC Certificate (if applicable)
- Residential Proof
- Service Certificate of Parent (Mother/Father)
- Two Passport-Sized Photographs of the Child
How to Register Online

- Click on the link for “KVS Class 1 Admission 2024-25” on the homepage.
- (New users) Register using the required information like login code, child’s date of birth, and registered mobile number.
- Fill out the application form carefully and submit it.
- Save and download the confirmation page for your records.
- Print a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
Other Important Information
- Offline registrations for Classes 2 and above are also open from April 1st to April 10th.
- Registration for Balvatika (pre-school) levels will be conducted offline at the respective schools.
- Children applying for Balvatika should be between 3 to 6 years old as of March 31st, 2024.
- KVS follows reservation quotas for SC, ST, and OBC categories.
