Lakhs of candidates are waiting for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2022. But for the fourth year in a row, the UPTET 2022 exam is unlikely to be held on time. The conduct of UPTET exam is running behind schedule since the year 2019. Due to the CAA-NRC protests in the year 2019, UPTET was conducted in January 2020. At the same time, the year UPTET 2020 could not be conducted due to Corona epidemic. UPTET 2021 was held on 23 January 2022, postponing several times. Talking about UPTET 2022, its notification has not been issued yet.
There is also a possibility of UPTET 2022 not being organized on its scheduled time. It takes at least three months to prepare for the exam. So far, the proposal for conducting UPTET 2022 has not even been sent to the government by the office of the regulatory authority. In such a situation, now the UPTET is expected to be conducted only in 2023.
Eligibility for UPTET 2022
UPTET 2022 notification will be released on the official website updeled.gov.in. Candidates age for UPTET is 18 to 35 years. Also must have done B.Ed or D.El.Ed. Eligibility related information will be available in detail after the release of the notification.
UPTET 2022 Paper Pattern
There are two papers in UPTET. Paper-1 is for classes 1st to 5th and Paper-2 is for classes 6th to 8th. 150 questions of 150 marks are asked in each paper. There is no negative marking in UPTET exam.
