Lucknow News: APJ Abdul Kalam University has decided to add 15000 seats in the (Economically Weaker Section) to benefit students studying under EWS category. The move will benefit thousands of students who are financially weak and unable to generate funds to pursue education. A Decision on New Colleges of Pharmacy and Engineering will also be taken soon. The admission Process will begin from 15th September. This Decision was taken by the Vice Chancellor in the Executive Meet.
Students waited for Admission Process for Long
University made headlines in the past weeks due to the delay in the verdict by the Supreme court on the petition for an extension of college affiliation. The agitated students even tagged Prime Minister Modi in Social Media seeking his intervention to end the deadlock.
Over One lakh students felt relieved after Court’s verdict
After the Top court gave ruling in favor of the students, over 1.5 lakh students sensed relief after the verdict by the court. Students knocked all the doors for help fearing uncertainty.
