Lucknow News: The deadlock seems to head nowhere of the fate of students in the AKTU ( DR APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University) affiliated colleges over the delay in the admission process. Students seeking admission in the B Tech courses of the AKTU are now fed up with the continuous delay and the unending extensions related to the process of admission. Surprisingly the University still hasn’t started the process even when the month of August comes to an end. Agitated students are tagging Prime Minister Narendra Modi, UP CM Yogi Adityanath and AICTE for help.
Agitated Students fear threat of Zero Session
With hardly two weeks left for the admission process to get over, the students and the parents are worried about their future. Many students have taken to Social Media to express their anger and frustration. Students waiting for the admission are fearing the threat of zero session in the academic year 2023-2024 after the unending delay by the courts and the University for granting affiliation to New Colleges and giving extension to affiliated colleges.
Varsity’s VC hopeful to get Relief from Supreme Court
The University’s Vice Chancellor still hopes to file a review petition in Supreme court to get relief. The VC is assuring the students to be hopeful that the session will start and will get wrapped by September 15th. According to the AICTE directive, college has to apply for fresh continuation of affiliation from AICTE and then it has to get an affiliation from AKTU.
