Lucknow News: The teachers of the Lucknow University came down to streets after their Summer break was cut down by the authorites. The agitated teachers warned the administration of holding a march to the Raj Bhawan after the summer break was cut short from 10 weeks to 15 days. The Lucknow University associated college teachers association has strongly criticized the decision of holding exams from June 20th. They said they will continue to protest until they are assured of a solution.
‘Our demands falling on deaf ears’
The Protesting teachers and staff had put forth their request in front of the administration to acknowledge. The protesting teachers have been accusing the authorities of the ongoing struggles faced by them in the University. The Protesting teachers are holding a long list of issues and want the authorities to consider their queries and unsolved issues, only then they will put an end to the protests.
‘We have been tortured mentally over a lot of things’
The teachers other big worry is the date of the exam declared from 20th June without a prior notification. The teachers also say that they have not been given the time to finish the syllabus. We have been tortured mentally over a lot of issues and we want to address our concerns to the Vice Chancellor. The teachers also want to raise their concerns in front of the Governor and unless their demands are heard they won’t end the protests.
