Lucknow News: Lucknow University has introduced a New Program for its PHD students under which the PHD students will be allotted a supervisor after completing their Pre PHD course. Earlier the students were assigned a supervisor after they finish the Pre PHD Course. Many students used to face uncertainty due to this. Considering this, University has decided to bring these changes in the new PHD ordinance. From now onwards, students entering into their PHD will be assign a Supervisor in the beginning only. All the Departments of the University have communicated this to their faculty and students.
Doctoral Students asked to complete their topics soon
The University has also asked the Doctoral students to start working on their topics soon. This will help students finish their work soon and will allow them more time to improve their work. With the help of the initiative, the Pre PHD course students will be able to perform better and will get a stress free environment.
University will promote Research in PG Courses
Apart from this, University has also decided to promote Research in PG courses. In the draft of New PHD ordinance, University has made a provision to run Post Graduate Program in its colleges in which research will be promoted. The move will help students to develop their research and skills.
