Several National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET-UG) aspirants Wednesday approached the Delhi High Court seeking direction to the authorities to postpone the competitive examination for the year 2022 which is scheduled to be held on July 17.
The petition was mentioned before a bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad, which allowed it to be listed for hearing on Thursday, the lawyer for the petitioners said.
As per a report in Live Law, the plea filed in Delhi High Court also seeks an extra attempt at NEET UG 2022 exam, apart from NEET postponement. While details on the petition are awaited, the matter was mentioned for an urgent listing today, following which Delhi HC agreed to hear the matter tomorrow.

NEET 2022 postponement demands have been all about the exam scheduled to be held on July 17, 2022. Yesterday, on July 12, 2022, National Testing Agency, NTA also released the NEET admit cards for the upcoming exam, indicating that the exam will be held as per schedule.
Earlier, NEET aspirants sought help of PM Modi with the hashtag #PMOHelpNEETUGAspirants, claiming that the prime minister is their last resort as they have been turned down by others. The students demanded more time as they completed their CBSE 12th board exams only in mid-June, so they only got one month to prepare for the exam.
