NEET Frisking 2022: Girls forced to remove underwear allowed to reappear for the exam on this date

NEET 2022: NEET will re-conduct exam for the girls who were forced to remove underwear ahead of taking the medical exam, the National Testing Agency said. The re-examination is scheduled on September 4, 2022.

To confirm the students about the development NTA has sent an email. A huge stir erupted after several girls were asked to remove their underwear ahead of taking the medical entrance test in the examination centre of Kerela’s Kolla district.

All of this came to light after a man registered a complaint with the Kottarakara and said the many female NEET aspirants including his daughter forcefully asked to remove their bras before entering the examination centre in Chathamanglam.

As per some reports, female students were forced to remove their bras for examination halls ‘security reasons’ as they had metal hooks. An FIR was then registered under sections 354 (Assault or criminal force on woman with intent to outrage her modesty) and 509 (Word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code.

Following the case, the National Testing Agency (NTA) set up a three-member committee for fact-finding to investigate the allegations and submit the report within 4 weeks for the same. The Human rights commission was also asked by district Kollam rural SP to examine the matter and submit the report in 15 days.
