NEET UG 2022: A circular is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In this, it has been claimed to change the dates of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test i.e. NEET UG 2022 for admission to undergraduate medical education courses. Allegedly, this notice is being said to have been issued by NTA i.e. National Testing Agency. The viral circular states that the exam date of NEET UG 2022 has been postponed from July 17 to September 04, 2022.
Fake Notice
Let the candidates preparing for NEET UG 2022 exam be informed that this circular has been found to be fake in fact-check. This has also been confirmed by the Press Information Bureau (PIB) under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The fact check team of PIB has also issued a notice on Tuesday, June 21, alerting the NEET-UG aspirants against the fake notices being circulated regarding the postponement of the examination.
Fake Notice getting Viral
A notice is going viral on social media claiming that the National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled NEET (UG) to September 04, 2022 instead of July 17, 2022, PIB tweeted. The letter claimed that lakhs of students have raised their concerns on Twitter and have also written to them. After this the Ministry of Education and NTA have also made the same request this notice is fake.

Aspirants and Parents are Demanding for Postponement of NEET UG 2022
The NEET UG aspirants as well as their parents have been continuously demanding the postponement of the undergraduate medical entrance examination citing the recently concluded CBSE board exams. Because of the delay in class 12th exams, time is getting less for NEET UG preparation. Recently, medical student organizations and parents’ association also wrote a letter to the Prime Minister seeking his intervention in the matter. Meanwhile, the registration process for NEET UG is over. NEET UG exam is scheduled on July 17 and the admit card for the same is expected to be released by the first week of July.
