Patna News:Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurates country’s biggest examination center in Patna. The examination hall has the capacity to accommodate 25000 students. The examination Center is located at the Kumhrar area of the city. The Hall has been named after Mahatma Gandhi, its called ‘Bapu Pariksha Parisar’. The Chief Minister also introduced the Bihar School Examination Work Plan on the occasion. The Engineering and Medical students also received the gift from the Chief Minister on this special occasion. CM launched the Residential Coaching in the Patna division, along with free non-residential coaching in the 8 divisions for the entrance test of Medical and Engineering college students of BSEB.
Examination Hall built over a Budget of 260 crores
The examination hall is built over a budget of 260 crores and on 6 acres of land equipped with all the Modern facilities . The Hall will have CCTV cameras, Jammers, Webcasting facility to ensure the safety of the students and the staff inside the building. The main building of the hall has 2 blocks which has the facility to hold 20000 to 25000 examinees at a time in offline and online mode.
CM: More work will be done to improve the System
The CM also inspected the whole building after the inauguration. He said that more such examination halls will be set up in the 29 districts. A Computer based online examination center will also set up in the 9 divisional headquarters. CM said that more work will be done to improve the system.
