Patna News: According to its director, Pradip Kumar Jain, the National Institute of Technology, Patna (NITP) is working diligently to execute the different aspects of the National Education Policy, 2020 in the larger interest of society in general and students in particular. stated that the new policy sought to establish a holistic and multidisciplinary education from primary to university level and provided specifics on the NEP’s key elements. The goal of the policy was to provide education in a way that would allow people to fully develop their moral, social, physical, emotional, and intellectual abilities.

Fostering Social, Cultural, and Professional Values at NITP

In order to instill social, cultural, and professional values into the students’ young minds, the NITP has implemented a two to three week induction programme for the students at the start of the course. During this time, professionals, alumni, and spiritual leaders share their experiences with the students. Speaking to the media at this location on Thursday, Jain outlined the NEP’s key components and stated that the new policy sought to provide a holistic and multidisciplinary education from the elementary to the university level. The goal of the policy was to provide education in a way that would allow people to fully develop their moral, social, physical, emotional, and intellectual abilities. In order to instill social, cultural, and professional values into the young minds of the students, he said, the NITP has introduced a two to three week induction programme at the beginning of the course. In this programme, professionals, alumni, and spiritual leaders share their experiences with the students.

NIT Patna’s Dual Degree Programs in Multidisciplinary Fields

Jain added that the university has dual degree programmes in a variety of multidisciplinary and practical fields, including math and computing, materials science and engineering, construction technology and management, manufacturing and industrial engineering, microelectronics and VLSI system design, cyber security, and data science. He made the point that, in light of the NEP, education will be given in regional languages to help the state’s socioeconomically deprived areas overcome their challenges. Both Hindi and English will be used as the dual language of the syllabus and examinations.
