PM Modi: Today was the official opening of the new Nalanda University campus in Rajgir by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It is noteworthy because this is Narendra Modi’s first trip to Bihar following his third oath of office as prime minister. Let us inform you that PM Modi traveled by special plane from Delhi to Gaya Airport. He used a helicopter to inaugurate the new Nalanda University campus from Gaya.

At around 10:30 AM today, the new campus of the Nalanda University would be inaugurated at Rajgir. Nalanda has a strong connect with our glorious past. Two Academic Buildings and Forty Classrooms

Let us inform you that there are two academic buildings at Nalanda University. They contain forty classrooms in all. Additionally, 1900 pupils can fit in this space. Nalanda University’s campus is a “net zero” campus. Here, education and environmentally friendly activities are conducted. In order to recycle water, a plant has also been erected on campus. In addition, ambassadors from 17 different nations as well as Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar will be present during the opening. This event is much-awaited because the ancient Nalanda for which we were known all over the world and the Nalanda on the strength of which we became famous as ‘Vishwa Guru’.”
