The PM said that for the development of any nation, education needs to be equitable and at the same time inclusive too. The key schemes launched by Prime Minister Modi in the education sector are such as, Vidyanjali 2.0, NISHTHA 3.0, Talking Books, School Quality Assessment and Assurance Framework and others. PM Modi also added that there was no specific common scientific framework in our country for our schools and education which is being changed now.
Talking Books and Audiobooks is included
“For the development of any nation, education needs to be both equitable and inclusive. For the same, the country is including talking books and audiobooks as part of education. Based on UDL (Universal Design of Learning), an Indian sign language dictionary has been developed,” PM Modi said.
Nishtha Training Programs
Nishtha Training Programs are for teachers. PM Modi said, “In this rapidly changing era, our teachers also have to learn about new systems and techniques rapidly. The country is preparing its teachers for these changes through ‘NISHTHA’ training programs.” He further added that by this program our teachers will get acquainted with new ways such as competency-based teaching, art integration, high-order thinking and creative and critical thinking. This will help in making our youth ready for the future in a better way.

PM Modi on NEP
“From the formulation of NEP (National Education Policy) to its implementation, academicians, experts, teachers and all others have had key roles to play. We have to take this participation to a new level and integrate society as well,” PM Modi added.PM Modi said these new initiatives would shape the future of the education sector. “The school quality assessment & assurance framework will not only make education competitive but will also make students future-ready,” PM Modi said.
