Punjab News: Punjab Government Sends Third Batch of School Heads to IIM Ahmedabad for Training

Punjab News– In a continued effort to improve school education and management, the Punjab government has dispatched the third batch of 50 headmasters and headmistresses for specialized training at IIM Ahmedabad. The training program is part of the government’s initiative to enhance leadership and management skills in schools across the state.

Cabinet Minister Harjot Singh Bains announced that the training will commence on October 7, focusing on equipping school leaders with modern educational management practices. The program aims to make school administration more efficient and improve the overall quality of education in Punjab.

Third Batch to Undergo Advanced Training

This is the third consecutive batch of headmasters and headmistresses being sent to IIM Ahmedabad for training under the initiative. The Punjab government has been committed to upgrading the skills of educational leaders by exposing them to advanced management practices from one of India’s top institutions. The previous two batches have already reported significant improvements in school administration and learning outcomes.

The training will emphasize key areas such as leadership, strategic thinking, and innovation in educational management. By equipping school heads with these skills, the government aims to ensure that schools are run more efficiently, ultimately benefiting students by creating a more organized and conducive learning environment.
