In Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University, it will be difficult for the students to order food from outside. The university administration has issued an order to impose a fine of Rs 100 on students who order food from outside. On the other hand, students will have to pay a fine of one thousand rupees for lighting room heaters in the hostel. A notice has been pasted outside the UG Boys Hostel for ordering food and banning the use of room heaters. After this order of the University (Order of Lohia Law University), there is a lot of resentment among the students living in the hostel. Students have started protesting against the notice. Students say that if this order is not withdrawn soon, the students will be bound to protest.
The students of UG Boys Hostel say that this notice has been pasted 1 week ago. Students eat mess food in the hostel. The order to impose a fine of ₹ 100 for occasionally ordering outside food is wrong. About 2 months ago, when a worm was found in the food in the mess, the students created a ruckus, questioning the quality of the food. Apart from this, glasses have been broken in the windows of many rooms of the hostel in the cold wave. In such a situation, it is very difficult to stay in the rooms in cold winds.
Here’s What Students Says
Students say that when the university administration gives permission to install coolers in summer. So why can’t you allow the installation of heaters in winter. On this whole matter, University spokesperson Dr. Aparna Singh (University spokesperson Dr. Aparna Singh) says that like other universities here also the rules of discipline in the hostel are old. Students living in the hostel can order food from outside. However, it is also advised to eat food prepared in the mess, so that the students remain healthy. Due to security reasons, the use of heaters and other electronic equipment is prohibited in the room.
