School Principals Applaud CBSE’s Revised Guidelines for Direct Admissions to Classes 10 and 12
Taurian World School principal Subhash Kumar said, “Until now, students seeking admission in classes X and XII were required to undergo a complex procedure that involved extensive paper works and validation of relevant documents. However, with the Board’s revised guidelines, schools can directly enroll students into these classes without the need for restrictions in enrollment imposed during registrations in classes IX and XI.” Both schools and students benefit from the new rule since it gives the admissions process more latitude. The schools must provide the CBSE with the candidate list between August 14 and September 14. Firayalal Public School principal Niraj Kumar Sinha, said, “Previously, the number of candidates to be admitted was frozen at the time of registrations in class IX for the class X board examinations and in Class XI for the class XII board examinations. This restriction often created challenges for both students and schools, as it limited the options available to students and created administrative hurdles. By removing these restrictions, the board aims to streamline the admission process and provide students with a more seamless transition to classes X and XII.”
Educational Leaders and Parents Applaud CBSE’s Forward-Thinking Approach to Admissions
The vice-principal of Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Lallan Kumar, praised the “progressive move” and stated that the admissions process had been streamlined. He added that this will improve students’ overall learning experiences and support an inclusive and accessible educational system. Now, it will be simpler for people with transferrable occupations to take use of these rules. However, an applicant may only be admitted to classes X and XII if he or she can offer a legitimate justification and accompanying documentation for enrollment. Parent Priya Das stated, In the past, students who wanted to enrol in classes X or XII had to first enrol in IX or X. As a result, the candidates will benefit from the new standards.
