Rohtak News: The Maharishi Dayananda University has been given the nod by UGC to start six online programs for the session 2023-2024. The University Director has informed that UGC has given permission to start courses like Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts in Political Science, Economics and Public Administration from the present session. The University Professor said that this move will strengthen the Digital Learning Teaching Practices in the University. The University is also committed to implement the guidelines of NEP 2020.

Online Education is the need of the hour

The Director said that online education is needed by many students today and it will help the student community. The Director said that MDU is a Pioneer University which promotes Digital Learning Practices. These six online programs would strengthen the NIRF Ranking and grading of the University. The University had earlier introduced two PG Programs for M Com and MSC in the online mode in the last session.

The Director also said that the new development is an important milestone in the Progress of the University. The students in all the courses will also benefit from the fresh courses that have been introduced and also the online education will provide them freedom as they will be able to study their subjects sitting at home.
