RPF Recruitment 2024: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has unveiled the recruitment notification for the Railway Protection Force (RPF) 2024, aiming to fill a total of 4,660 vacancies for Constables and Sub-Inspectors. The official announcement states that the online registration and application window will be open from April 15 to May 14, 2024, on the RRB’s official website.
Application Fee Details
Candidates applying for the recruitment are required to pay an application fee of Rs 500. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Minorities, or Economically Backward Classes will have a reduced application fee of Rs 250.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Before applying, candidates are urged to ensure they meet all eligibility criteria. For the Sub-Inspector position, candidates must have graduated from a recognized university and be aged between 20 to 28 years. Aspirants applying for the Constable role should have passed Class 10 or its equivalent from a government-recognized board, with an age requirement of 18 to 28 years.
Candidates from reserved categories will benefit from age relaxation as per government norms. Additionally, those awaiting results from their final qualifying exams are not eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
The selection process for RRB RPF Recruitment 2024 includes a written online examination, followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT). The online examination will be conducted in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
