NEET 2024: Regarding the purported paper leak and anomalies in the NEET Undergraduate 2024 exam, a significant update has surfaced. Actually, the National Testing Agency, or NTA, and the Central Government have received a notice from the Supreme Court requesting a response. The Supreme Court ruled that a case should be handled entirely even in cases where there is only 0.001% of carelessness on the part of the accused.
Supreme Court Hearing Scheduled for July 8
This matter will now be heard by the Supreme Court on July 8. Amulya Vijay Pinapati and Nitin Vijay have filed a plea in the NEET matter asking for a probe into the paper leak. The Supreme Court ruled that “the petitioner’s request for a decision could not be granted today. We will never forget the children’s diligent preparations.”
On May 5, 4,750 centers in 571 Indian cities administered the NEET-UG exam, which serves as the entrance exam for undergraduate medical programs in India. On June 4, the results were announced. Following the announcement of the results, instructors and parents started to contest the 1,563 pupils’ grace marks.
Prospective Doctors Petition Supreme Court
A group of twenty prospective doctors filed a case with the Supreme judicial earlier this month, requesting that the 2024 entrance exam be abolished and that the CBI or other impartial authorities conduct an investigation into the purported irregularities under judicial supervision.
According to the appeal, 67 students passed the NEET 2024 exam with a score of 720 out of 720. Additionally, it stated that the number of candidates receiving 620–720 scores had increased by 400 percent.
