Shobhit University: The AD Scientific Index (Alper-Doger Scientific Index), provides evaluations of journals and universities based on the scientific performance and the added value of the scientific productivity of individual scientists. Furthermore, it provides rankings of institutions based on the scientific characteristics of affiliated scientists. This new index has been developed by using the total and last 5 years’ values of the i10 index, h-index, and citation scores in Google Scholar.
Fifteen faculty members of Shobhit University, India have been listed in the World Scientist and University Rankings by AD Scientific index this year. The faculty members, enlisted in the ranking represent different schools and departments of the university.

Eulogizing the scholarly achievements of all these faculty members, Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra, the Chancellor of Shobhit University reiterated that the University being a research-intensive university believes in high-quality teaching vis-a-vis utility-based translational research. He further assured us to provide a creative and supportive environment wherein ideas could generate and flourish.
The excellence and diversity of our research across various schools and departments are well reflected in our achievements in fundamental and applied research, which position us aptly to make significant contributions to the national innovation agenda. We have taken a number of Strategic Initiatives to enhance our existing research base to address research challenges by multi-disciplinary teams of researchers. We aim to provide academic leadership in these areas and develop strategic partnerships with academe and industry to undertake useful research.
